About Us
Sustainable Earth Foundation (SEF) is a grassroots non-governmental organization based in Tanzania. We work with local communities to protect and restore nature not only for today, but for the generations to come. Our work is guided by one simple belief: when people are empowered to care for their environment, they become powerful agents of change. From smallholder farmers and village leaders to students and youth groups, we support communities to lead sustainable solutions that restore landscapes, protect biodiversity, and strengthen resilience to climate change. By integrating traditional knowledge with innovative ecological practices, we ensure that our conservation efforts are not only effective but also deeply rooted in the communities they serve.
